A Day In The Life

This morning I woke up and had a little look outside. Windy. I threw on my jumper and tennies and headed out. On my 20 minute walk to work, I stopped at Mojo to pick up a flat white, because I reckon it is going to be a long morning. I arrived at the clinic and immediately prepped the plunger for my second round before heading into my first physio session of the day at half nine.

Come lunch time, I was more than keen for the toastie and muesli bar I'd packed. I sat with the other physios in the break room, discussing tramps and holly and footy, and analysed the clinic diary to get a feel for the rest of the day. At half three, I was ready to head back to my flat, and a quick glance outside suggested an afternoon of sunshine- good thing I packed my sunnies. I throw them on and leave the clinic, waving goodbye to my co-workers. On the way home, I stopped at the supermarket to pick up some courgette, avo and capsicum for the weekly dinner I will prepare for the roomies, as well as some more milk just in case the jug we had at the flat had gone off. I also made a stop at the dairy to scoop some extra hair lackies, because, you know, the wind. I've had to buy heaps since arriving here.

When I arrive back at 222, I switch out my slacks and blouse for a singlet and thongs before crossing the carpark to Rogue and Vagabond, where I'm meeting my mates for Taco Tuesday and some bevvies. You can bet I'm ordering the chicken and chili mince. We spend the evening on beanies in the grass, relaxing and sharing our classic intern experiences.

We returned to the flat around half 8 and did a quick clean before hitting the hay. I curled up under my duna and drifted off, keen for a good nights sleep before I did it all again tomorrow.
